Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed:
Ed Stephens of Coldwell Banker Realty wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, screen magnification or other assistive technology.
Our goal
We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard most widely used for websites. Accessibility is ongoing work: we check the site as it changes and fix problems as we find them.
What we've done
- A "Skip to content" link at the top of the site's pages, and pages built to work with a keyboard as well as a mouse.
- Text colors checked against the WCAG AA contrast ratio.
- Labels on form fields. When a form can't be sent, the error is announced and points to the field to fix.
- Headings and page regions that describe how each page is organized, and text descriptions on photos.
- Animations that are reduced or switched off when your device is set to reduce motion.
- Videos played from YouTube or Vimeo show the captions provided with them, through the player's captions button.
Known limitations
- Video and 3D tours come from other services, such as YouTube, Vimeo or Matterport. Captions depend on what was uploaded, and 3D tours can be hard to use with a keyboard or screen reader.
- Maps are visual. The address or place names are also written on the page.
- Many listing photos are described only by the property and the photo's number, not by what they show.
- Digital brochures are shown as PDF pages, which may not work with a screen reader.
If any of these gets in your way, we'll help you get the same information another way, such as a description of the photos, a walkthrough by phone or a text version of a brochure.
